Top new showrooms

Clerkenwell is the centre of design in London and continues to grow!
Here's my pick of recent additions to this lively neighbourhood.

1. Bert Frank

Made in the West London, this award-winning British luxury lighting brand founded in 2013 by designer, Robbie Llewellyn and metalwork factory owner, Adam Yeats. I love the influence fo the industrial era but with a contemporary twist.

67 Farringdon Road

2. Deadgood

Collection of modern furniture, lighting and  interior produced with personality and designed and made in Britain.

46 Old Street

3. Solus Ceramics

A leading supplier of commercial wall and floor tiles there is a huge range (more than 100,000!)  porcelain, ceramic, glass, metal and natural stone products. I love this selection with a ceramic 3D effect.

A great woman that has changed design history - Zaha Hadid.

For CDW, Fritz Hansen collaborates with the famous architect's gallery to present "Shaping Reality Through Time" -  an exploration of design evolution -  showcasing a whole range of iconic chairs by the Danish brand. A highlight:  Jacobsen's Series 7 chair, reinterpreted by ZHD 2015.

Just gorgeous!

Exhibition // What would you take?

I loved this installation by Studio Egret West, that provokes conversation around the themes of place, possessions, memory and belonging. A powerful experience that explores the relationship between essentials for refugees (food and shelter) and the cultural historic (traditions and memories). What happens when the initial panic is over ? How does one survive and reestablish human dignity.

Not to be missed.

Come and say bonjour!

Stop by KIOSK by 14 Septembre, a new French design destination during Clerkenwell Design Week. We’ve brought you an innovative selection of our agency’s interiors clients from across the channel: Made in France lighting, furniture, tableware and material manufacturers from the likes of Sammode Studio, Maiori, Gien, Maison Fragile, Ober Surfaces and CELC - The European Confederation of Flax And Hemp.

Where to find us

Walk 5 minutes from Farringdon station, or jump off the bus at St John Street, and you’ll find us on the corner of Clerkenwell Green, at number 20.
